Il <strong>Congresso degli Stati Uniti infatti ha abbandonato SOPA e PIPA<\/strong>, accontentando le ondate di protesta pubblica verificatesi durante l&#8217;inizio del 2012. Una volta accantonate loro, ecco che <strong>ACTA<\/strong>, la terza in ordine di presentazione ed al momento quella che ha goduto di meno attenzione, <strong>sale alla ribalta come prossimo &#8220;grande nemico&#8221; da evitare<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Il paese che sino ad esso, in Europa, <strong>si \u00e8 opposto<\/strong> pi\u00f9 degli altri ad<strong> ACTA \u00e8 stata la Polonia,<\/strong> con diversi episodi di protesta per strada, ed i cui rappresentanti al<strong> Parlamento Europeo hanno portato le ragioni della popolazione arrivando indossare la famosa maschera bianca di Guy Fawkes<\/strong>, il simbolo utilizzato dal gruppo di <strong>hacker Anonymous<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In una intervista, il capo redattore di <strong>Wesaw Business Journal, Andrew Kureth<\/strong>, ha fatto il punto della situazione su ACTA, affermando che la gente non sembra capire esattamente quale saranno le ripercussioni se tale proposta diventer\u00e0 legge. Elogiando dapprima i propri compatrioti per essere scesi in <strong>20,000<\/strong> nelle strade per protestare, ha poi portato l&#8217;attenzione sul fatto che la gente ha capito perfettamente la protesta inscenata da <strong>Wikipedia contro SOPA e PIPA<\/strong>, e che serve una mobilitazione generale molto pi\u00f9 ampia per scongiurare il pericolo di ACTA che, pare, nella sua esecuzione <strong>promette di essere pi\u00f9 severa delle bombe SOPA e PIPA<\/strong> ormai disinnescate.<\/p>\n<p>Andrew Kureth ha infatti sottolineato che ACTA non proibisce unicamente di scambiare film o film musicali, ma limiterebbe la libert\u00e0 di espressione dei cittadini, ad esempio nei riguardi del proprio pensiero politico, andando quindi ad incidere uno dei cardini del Web, ovvero la libert\u00e0 di espressione in tutte le sue forme. Se ACTA infatti dovesse entrare in azione, s<strong>arebbe possibile chiudere un sito web unicamente sulla base di accuse che toccherebbe all&#8217;accusato dirimere<\/strong>, piuttosto che all&#8217;accusatore come avviene al momento.
